Looking forward to my 30's

Huwhee~ Tomorrow is my 30 years-old birthday, however it is not as special as I expected before. Perhaps it is because I have already met my own goal – get married before 30!! Yes, just got married for one month; and we have been back from the honeymoon for 2 weeks. During this period, I am still adapting to my new role as a “Part-time Housewife”. Well, although I have to do housework nowadays, I think I don't have any problems or issues taking care of my honey. I quite enjoy cooking for him. I tried to make two dinners so far, a typical dinner with rice and 3 dishes (after work wor......!) Make a breakfast on weekends is also my favourite!

The feeling of having my “home sweet home” is totally different from staying with my family in the past 29 years. “I am” or “We are” now in charge of all the daily tasks -- shopping in supermarket, doing laundry, cooking, and all bits & pieces for the house are actually continuous tasks that we have to do day by day and week by week. Luckily, I'm quite enjoyed doing them.

Sometimes (only sometimes) I would miss my parents, and the family atmosphere which I get used to in the past many many years. My family took care of me too well before! I miss them and miss the laughters sometimes! Ha ha...

Not intentionally complaining, but I feel really tired after work everyday - not because of the work itself that is too harsh - just because it takes me one hour to go to work and another one hour to travel back home. Specifically, I am still adapting to the new location ---- Apleichau!! Long travelling hours is a real problem to me when compared to the past. You know... it just took me 20 mins to arrive office while I used to live in North Point. It is so convenient to go almost everywhere from North Point! Anyway....... please give me some time to adapt!

Many friends / colleagues asked me when we would plan to have a baby. My answer to all of them is “A bit later, because we would like to have some time to relax first” Giving such an answer is not because we don't like a child, but because we really want to have a period of stable time first, after a full year organising our new flat and preparing the wedding! We would definitely like to enjoy some weekends where we can go to watch a movie or just leisurely enjoy an afternoon tea. Ha ha… too ideal, right? Let's see!
